We have exciting news to share: the MyWebAR community is growing. Today, even more creators and teams are joining the MyWebAR ecosystem, bringing new ideas, projects, and energy. Below is the official announcement.
DEVAR (USA), the developer of the MyWebAR platform, and ARTAR (Estonia), an AR platform, today announced a strategic platform integration agreement. Under the agreement, ARTAR will wind down its independent operations and begin an organized transition of its users and projects to MyWebAR. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The agreement reflects ongoing consolidation in the AR platform market, as commercial teams increasingly prioritize platforms with predictable support, a clear product lifecycle, and the ability to scale.
Comment from Anna Ishmuratova, Head of Communications at DEVAR:
“We have been building WebAR infrastructure for 11 years and we see the market maturing. Customers need platform stability, continuous development, and high-quality support. This agreement gives ARTAR users a clear path to continue their projects and the infrastructure for long-term work.”
What happens to existing ARTAR projects
All ARTAR commercial projects will continue to be supported in full through the end of the current subscription terms. DEVAR and ARTAR will work directly with each partner on the transition. For coordination and additional information, clients can contact the teams at either company.
