Over 120 youngsters from the Islands of Trinidad & Tobago spend the summer with Shell Digitalization Academy. Participants learned critical elements about Artificial Intelligence, Augmented and Virtual Reality from experts in the industry. Students’ experience consists of Lectures, Group Research, Roundtable Conversations, and Immersive Technologies.
Agriculture, Health, Real Estate, Architecture, Leadership – this is a small list of topics used by students to create AR and VR projects. All students, together with Twain Education used the MyWebAR platform as a solution for augmented reality creations and created more than 80 projects.
The main goal of Shell Digitalization Academy is to engage youth in hands-on activities that excite their interest in learning about Web3 and to develop collaboration, creativity, innovation, critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills in students.
After the Academy students continue to use MyWebAR platform for the educational and practical projects.
